Fiction, as exciting as it may be, comes with the open sense that what you are reading, is not real. Some Historical Fiction, such as Soldier X, are exciting, but to a point, knowing that its not a true story, dulls the conflict. When reading Nonfiction, especially historical, things can be exciting, but also true, which gives the story a better sense of excitement, danger, and adventure.
