In my opinion I highly believe that the world we live today is more prejudging because if anyone has heard few to many people prejudge other people. Many people can see that in written work, TV shows, and real life. If this keeps our next generation might get off on the wrong way of introduction to people. Side: Yes, it is more prejudice.

I feel that the world is not as overtly prejudice, rather it has taken shape into a more passive aggressive form. No longer is it socially acceptable to yell out at someone for being a certain race, religion, or gender, but now if there is a certain cause behind it-henceforth usually religion (Christianity) we will just pass the blame off to some old book and say that it is sin and harass them, rather than hazing or lynching someone. So I would say that prejudice now a days is carried out in more of a "little bitch" manner so to speak. They hide behind the facade of an organized group thinking that they are doing the world a favor or something. Rather than just saying they are racist, or homophobic, or sexist, it's now just something that some guy in the sky told them is right. Side: Yes, it is more prejudice.

The world today is better then the world then because the world then was more racial. If you were black then you were a slave and treated poorly. If you had a different believe in religion, then you were killed or sent away. You were treated by the way you were and that isn't fair. There is still racial and religious prejudice now, but there are laws that says that you are not aloud to do anything about it. People were judged on there sexualities. If they liked the opposite sex then they were killed. Now, there is a law that gay marriage is possible. There are no more slaves and black people are aloud to go to school and get an education. So, I think that the world is a better place today. Side: No,the world is a better place

I don't think it is more prejudice because back then people used to show how they felt about how people skins were different and how they looked or how there eyes are different.the world now is a better place because colors couldnt go out side without having a bottle thrown as them or how they had to sit in the back of the bus or eat in the back of a restaurant or could even eat at all at that restaurant. But now people with different race can sit next to each other or eat and such on. Side: No,the world is a better place
I think that the world is better than 50years ago because throughout my years in school we talked about it and i bealive that it was really bad from what i heard back then. Now these days theres people out there that are prejudice. some keep it to themselevs some dont but overall i bealive its better. Side: No,the world is a better place

the world has changed allot in the past 50 years people don't just walk up to a random person and say racial terms to them. the justice system is also not as corrupt as it used to be and all races have a chance to tell their story and have a fair trial. Side: No,the world is a better place
I beg to differ with your first statement that "...people don't just walk up to a random person and say racial terms to them." This happens on a daily basis, and hasn't changed the slightest in the past fifty years. I would even say that it happens to a wider range of people these days, as the population has significantly increased, and we have a wider range of ethnic groups. The justice system has also not changed to a completely unbiased state. Juries and Judges still have the potential (just as everyone else) to be racist against any party. I must admit the frequency of this has definitely gone down, but I guarantee you that men, whether white, black, Hispanic, Asian, or other, have been subjected to bias in a courtroom due to their ethnic background. Side: Yes, it is more prejudice.
no i do not think that the world today is more prejudice because back then the black people had to work for the white and not get payed they were just feed and given what the white people thought that they should have. also people used to beat them and then treat them like crap. they would make them sit seperate from the white people and if they were caught talking to another white person the kkk would go to their house while they were sleeping and either out their house on fire or they would take that person out of their house and kill them Side: No,the world is a better place

The world is a better place, because a colored person is not a slave or is treated the same way Emmett Till was treated for whistling at a white women. Everyone today is being treated equally, and has the same rights as the person in the next state Side: No,the world is a better place
